Career Prospects

  1. Semiconductor and chip industries: This is one of the core options for chip design, manufacturing, process development, testing and containment. World-renowned companies such as Intel, Inverda, ARM, Station Power and Asmeh are important employers. 2. Electronic and communication equipment: development of smartphones, telecommunications base stations, network equipment, etc. For example, Chinese, Apple, Samsung, Totung, etc. 3. Nanotechnologies and new materials: research and development, applications and transformation in new and emerging materials (e.g. graphite, carbon nanopipes), energy, biomedical, etc. 4. Aerospace and defence: There is a significant demand for high-performance, durable electronic systems and nanomaterials in this area. Medical technology and bioelectronics: This is a rapidly growing direction, involving the development of medical imaging equipment, wearable equipment, implanted medical devices and biosensors. 5. Motor vehicles and transport electronics: especially with the development of electric automobiles and auto-driving technologies, there is a great demand for electricity, electronics, sensors and control systems.
