Career Prospects

Under the direction of the Professor, students will systematically master forward-looking research methods such as biomechanical modelling, soft tissue engineering, biomimicry material design and biorestraint, and will have the capability to conduct integrated scientific research across engineering and life sciences.

Graduates have access to a wide range of development opportunities in the following areas:

  • Higher education and research institutions: scientific research and teaching in the fields of biomechanicals, biological materials, organizational engineering, computing modelling, etc.;
  • (a) Medical equipment and biomaterials industry: in research and development or engineering technical positions in the fields of implant design, skin substitution materials, medical imitation products, etc.;
  • In the field of computing and simulation: engineering analysis and innovative design in the areas of modelling of biological systems, computational biomechanicals, limited meta-analysis, etc.;
  • Interdisciplinary areas of innovation: research or entrepreneurship in emerging cross-disciplinary directions such as artificial intelligence medicine, biosensors, rehabilitation engineering and personal medicine.

Through systematic academic training and cooperation with internationalized scientific research, students not only acquire a deep theoretical foundation and engineering application, but also develop independent scientific thinking and cross-cutting collaborative capacity and provide a solid foundation for access to institutions of higher learning, research institutions or international innovative enterprises.
